Default Chicken Tikka Shashlik at home

    Right,

    Alcohol: positively flowing...
    BBQ: hot
    Tikka chicken: CBM 2kg worth...go!
Sauce: Fred's finest basic sauce with a dash of lemon...bosh!

I live near 2 award winning restaurants and this afternoon I am privileged to say that I think I out did them!
This was probably the best tikka I have made and the best sauce. Individually each item may have been too salty or too xxx but together they compliment each other exquisitely.

Thank you Terry and thank you Fred...

    Heaven on a plate.

    Nuff said,

Beating the profesionals at what they do best is some feat Martin
but doing it while you're on the drink, that says it all mate.

A cracking job and cheers for the pics.

Thanks, guys. Work had been keeping my head down of late but I wanted to show you I was still 'doing the do!'

Mrs Whynot came home with a gas BBQ and although I prefer to use our ProQ Smoker (which totally is the dogs dangly ones, by the way!) the results on the gas BBQ were excellent. Much tastier and BIRlike than the oven or dry pan methods. Also the speed of the gas BBQ is another bonus.

'Bad' news - I still have some uncooked chicken tikka left in the fridge, so its been marinading for a couple of days - oh no!

Hope everyone's making the most of the sunshine!
