    Default saturdays cooking

I found myself bored on Saturday afternoon so thought I better use up some meat and base I had left in the fridge. i wanted to try the base mix and mix powder from this site and differ from my usual CBM set up. it worked very well and to be honest i found not much in it. i had to have a little taster of each and must admit eating to much of the garlic chilli chicken. this was amazing. nobody seemed to like the fact i had used 8 cloves of garlic though. would like to know your thoughts

    Great looking curries Dyl,
Nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation, it's a great way to learn.

I use about 5 cloves of garlic in the Garlic Chilli Chicken but if you like more then why not

    Good on yer mate,

    Mick

Hi dyl. I'm yelling as load as I can. I'm always interested in new recipes. I don't always make them but I know this sounds a bit strange, but I like to look at them (sad or what) . As for the garlic, you sound like a man after my own heart. I love the stuff, in fact when I do a curry for the family I put twice as much in mine than in anyone else's.

Nice job there dyl, well done.

Like Mick, I would use 5 cloves of garlic but if you love the stuff that much then go for it.

I bet you and Ray have no bother from vampires eh

I'm a Garliholic Dil. Unless people start complaining, then 8 cloves are fine. When doing a curry for myself, 8 would be the norm. 5 in the main curry and a tarka of 3 cloves with methi done in a wee bit spiced oil
