    Have you tried Mustard Oil.Just baste your chicken as required
    I have used this and had some comments about the smoky taste it gives, i did heat the oil first till smoking then let it cool slightly, then baste. Or just add mustard oil to your regular tikka/tandoori marinade.

    You can use the one trick they use like in steak restaurants. There is a special cast iron that resembles this.
