    If you absolutely must use less oil try sticking to curies that require less spices and have more fresh ingredients in them:

    Kormas!
    Bhuna as there's less sauce anyway

    Use fresh chilli paste instead of powder

    Anything to reduce the dry powder you would otherwise add.
