Default Kadai / Kadhai / Karahi / Balti dish with low square handles

As seen at Brick Lane in NYC.
Any of you guys familiar with this style (Kadai, Kadhai, Karahi, Balti) or where I could get them?

Those look like presentation pots rather than cooking ones, too clean for cooking in!

Ask at the restaurant, though they might have had them brought over by a friend/relative or employee from abroad. I know one local one that the owner brought boxs of pans and dishes here from Bangladesh for his restaurant.

You could also try catering suppliers that sell to the public.

    Ferret:
There's one downtown and in midtown. Two more in NJ. Named after the street in London.

Americans have issues with portion control.

Looks like you were right King.
I called and spoke with the manager. He said the owner buys their curry bowls from India and he didn't know where.

Yup, I thought that might be the case. I have known it happen here also.

AS staff often go back for holidays you might be able to get one to bring a few over for you, especially if you get to know them and offer to pay a good price for them.

    Still no luck finding these.

I've tried contacting the owner of Brick Lane NYC several times or asking in the restaurant to see if I can purchase them or have him bring some back for me on his next trip to south asia but he's been un-receptive.

Has anybody else seen serving dishes like these with low, square handles that are out of the way when you are eating?
